The spirit and central mission of all the Seirei Gakuen schools are to be true to the founding Christian value of “Love thy Neighbor.” Our goal is to nurture students who graduate as people who are active in their communities and participate in the broader international society. As outlined below, Seirei has established the following schools:
Seirei Christopher Graduate School
The Seirei Christopher Graduate programs offer Doctoral research, Master’s research and advanced study programs. Our graduate programs seek to develop scholars and researchers with advanced knowledge in these academic areas who are able to contribute to cultivation and improvement in their areas of study. Additionally, our programs seek to encourage specialized research and studies related to health and medical welfare. Our goal is to improve the quality of people’s lives, health, and well-being.
Seirei Christopher University
Since its founding in 1992, the university has based all of its educational programs on cultivating graduates with the highest degree of capability and knowledge in the education, health, and medical welfare areas. We seek to develop students who have a heart and mind of service toward others, all of which is based on the core Christian values of “dignity of life and love for one’s neighbor.” Our aim is to train and graduate professionals who have a deep knowledge of their fields and who value collaboration in the delivery of education, health, welfare, and medical services.

The Seirei Christopher High School program is focused on “cultivating the mind and honing the intellect.” Through value-based classes like Bible Study, daily chapel, and exercise education, we deliver a balanced curriculum that focuses on the whole person. Our students are not focused exclusively on educational achievement, but on a broader human experience. We seek to prepare future leaders with high aspirations. We nurture our students to foster human development and to be deeply involved in their communities. Our educational program is also focused on developing a balanced international outlook.
Seirei Christopher Junior High School
Our unique Junior High program seeks to help our students achieve “self-actualization.” We want students who understand their future and who are able to actively envision and achieve their future dreams. These goals are achieved through a close integration of the full six-year Junior/Senior High academic program.

Based upon the spirit of “Love thy neighbors,” Seirei Christopher Elementary School (SCES) will strive to offer educational opportunities for learners to acquire communication skills in English, and cultivate the ability to produce and communicate their own ideas through English immersion education and inquiry-based learning respectively. SCES will also strive to nurture members of society with creative and critical thinking skills who will be capable of playing an active role in the global society.
Seirei Christopher Kodomoen
The Seirei Christopher Pre-school and Kindergarten are fully certified schools which integrate the goals and educational objectives of both educational levels to deliver a fully integrated and balanced program to our students. We seek to deeply encourage the development of each child’s individual value and character. Our program is a diverse and active program, giving rise to well-developed children in a value’s-oriented learning environment.
