Welcome Message from Chair of SIRC2026

Cheryl Lian (SIT), PhD.,
Chair, SIT-SCU International Research Conference 2026
Dear Colleagues and Participants,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 1st jointly co-organised Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) & Seirei Christopher University (SCU) International Research Conference 2026 (SIRC 2026), in lieu of the 8th Seirei International Research Conference. This online conference continues to serve as a vital platform for the cross-cultural exchange of knowledge, the cultivation of new ideas, and the strengthening of academic partnerships across healthcare disciplines and institutions globally.
SIRC 2026 will foster a dynamic, transnational community where early-career researchers, seasoned academics, healthcare practitioners, and students across various healthcare disciplines gather to inspire and learn from one another through formal presentations. This virtual convergence of minds will not only potentially encourage future institutional collaborations but also lead to applied research endeavors and sustained partnerships. This conference also aims to nurture the next generation of healthcare professionals and researchers by sharing various healthcare perspectives to better advance healthcare provision and delivery.
On behalf of the SIT-SCU organizing committee, I extend my heartfelt thanks to all participants. May the SIRC 2026 be a rewarding and enriching experience for all.
With warm regards,
Cheryl Lian, Ph.D.

Message from SCU

Isamu Shibamoto(SCU), Ph.D.
President, Seirei International Research Conference
Dear Colleagues, Friends, Partners, and Participants,
I am pleased to announce the 8th SIT-SCU International Research Conference (SIRC2026). Although our experience with the previous seven international research conferences, we have come to understand the importance of sharing research, engaging in discussion, and receiving diverse perspectives. Each conference has also brought tangible progress. For this 8th SIT-SCU International Research Conference, we will take on a new challenge.
SIT-SCU International Research Conference 2026 will be held in collaboration between Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and Seirei Christopher University (SCU). This conference will evolve into a forum where two distinct universities pool their wisdom on a single theme to discuss topics essential for contemporary society. We extend our deepest appreciation to Dr. Cheryl Lian (SIT), PhD., who will serve as Chair for the SIT-SCU International Research Conference 2026 and SIT team. We look forward to new wisdom emerging from fresh perspectives.
The theme for this conference is “The Global Landscape of Healthcare Practice and Research.” Healthcare practice and research are universal. We look forward to sharing multidisciplinary research and ideas with many participants. As always, we will also hold student sessions and the Global Partners Summit.
The Seirei International Research Conference has generated significant insights and exchanges to date. We anticipate SIRC2026 will foster the sharing of even more ideas, technologies, and theories.
We look forward to meeting many of you.
Sincerely,
Isamu Shibamoto, SLHT, PhD
