Army Medical University (AMU), Chongquing China

Founded in 1954, Army Medical University is a leading national university with 13 specialized fields, including nursing, clinical medicine, preventive medicine, and medical technology. The university has three affiliated teaching hospitals and is well known in China for advancing medical science and technology.
AMU also supports regional hospitals in western China, helping to improve healthcare services in less affluent areas.

Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), Singapore

Established in 1992, Nanyang Polytechnic is a national institution that works closely with the Singapore government to train healthcare professionals and specialists in other key industries. It has seven schools, including the School of Health and Social Sciences, which offers nursing and social work programs. NYP was the first polytechnic in Singapore to offer a nursing diploma, and provides highly regarded, practice-oriented nursing education recognized both locally and internationally.

Samuel Merritt University (SMU), Oakland California, USA

Founded in 1909 as a nursing school, Samuel Merritt University is now a leading health sciences university on the U.S. West Coast. It offers graduate programs in nursing, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, with strong clinical partnerships including Alta Bates Summit Medical Center and Sutter Health. SMU is known for preparing healthcare professionals who serve diverse communities across Northern California and beyond.

Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), Singapore

Founded in 2009, the Singapore Institute of Technology is a national university focused on applied learning and industry collaboration. Its Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, established in 2016, offers programs such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Therapy. A key feature of SIT is the Integrated Work Study Program (IWSP), where students gain 8–12 months of hands-on industry experience as part of their degree.

Seattle Pacific University, founded in 1891, is a private Christian university in Seattle. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs across six schools, including the School of Education and the School of Health Sciences. SPU emphasizes practical experience and leadership development, preparing students for professional careers in education, healthcare, and community service.

University of Hawaii at Manoa, Hawaii USA

The University of Hawaii at Manoa, founded in 1907, is the flagship campus of the University of Hawaii system. Seirei Christopher University students visit the Master’s Program in Communication Sciences & Disorders at the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM). The program offers small-group instruction, advanced clinical training rooms, and highly specialized education, with graduates active worldwide.

The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou China

Sun Yat-sen University is a major institution in Guangdong Province with 58 colleges and eight affiliated hospitals. The First Affiliated Hospital is one of China’s leading medical centers, known for advanced medical care and research. The university educates graduate and international students in clinical medicine, nursing, and rehabilitation.

Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), Ilocos Norte Philippines

Established in 1978, Mariano Marcos State University offers programs in arts, sciences, agriculture, technology, and professional fields. It holds Level 4 accreditation, the second-highest classification for State Universities and Colleges in the Philippines. MMSU’s College of Health Sciences provides well-recognized programs in Nursing and Physical Therapy, accredited nationally for their high quality.

Chiang Mai University (CMU), Chiang Mai Thailand

Founded in 1964 as the first national university in northern Thailand, Chiang Mai University is a leading institution in the region. Its Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS) was established in 1966 and offers programs in Medical Technology, Radiologic Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy. AMS also operates a clinical service center that provides students with practical training.

Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), Makassan Indonesia

Hasanuddin University, founded in 1956, is a national comprehensive university located on Sulawesi Island. It is recognized as the leading university in eastern Indonesia. The university offers programs in medicine, nursing, public health, dentistry, and pharmacy, with Physical Therapy included within the Department of Nursing.

Seirei Asha Bhavan, Kerala India

Seirei Asha Bhavan was founded in 1989 as a composite facilities for people with intellectual disabilities. The facility manager, Mr. Abraham, received guidance from the founder of Seirei, the late Mr. Tamotsu Hasegawa. He was trained the Seirei group facilities including at Seirei Social Welfare Community. After returning to India, he founded Seirei Asha Bhavan to inherit the spirit of Seirei.
Seirei Asha Bhavan provides residences for people with intellectual disabilities, day care services, employment support, consultation projects, and supports for homeless people, and supports education for children from poor families. SCU students from the school of social work visit this facility for international welfare training.

Casa da Esperanca, Sao Paulo Brazil

Casa da Esperasa (The House of Hope) is a non-profit organization to support people with severe intellectual disabilities. It was founded by Yukiko Ichikawa in 1963 with the support of the founder of Seirei, the late Mr. Tamotsu Hasegawa. The House of Hope currently accommodates about 80 people. It is managed by more than 90 employees and hundreds of volunteers. SCU students from the school of social work visit this facility for international welfare training.
