SIRC2026: A Joint Conference by SIT and SCU
On March 2–3, 2026, Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and Seirei Christopher University (SCU) jointly hosted the 8th Seirei International Research Conference (SIRC2026). This marked the first time the conference was organized in partnership with SIT.
Participants from ten countries—the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, India, China, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Hong Kong, the United States, and Japan—took part in the conference, representing the largest number of participating countries to date. During the conference, 40 oral presentations and 31 poster presentations were delivered, fostering active discussions on recent research findings and clinical practices in the fields of health sciences, social welfare, and education.
In the student session, students from Samuel Merritt University, SIT, and SCU gave presentations on their research and academic activities. Through dialogue across national and disciplinary boundaries, participants broadened their international perspectives and strengthened academic connections.
The next conference, SIRC2027, is scheduled to be held at Seirei Christopher University in March 2027.
The university will continue to promote collaborative research and international cooperation, deepen academic exchange, and contribute to the advancement of health sciences, social welfare, and education.
