Trainees from Philippine Partner University Experience Japanese Healthcare
Six trainees specializing in Physical Therapy and one faculty member from Mariano Marcos State University in the Philippines, a partner institution of our university, have arrived. A short-term training program is currently underway from Monday, October 20 to Friday, October 31.
On the first day, in addition to an orientation and a campus tour, the trainees attended a special lecture on Japan's medical and long-term care systems. As a result, they are further deepening their understanding of healthcare in a different cultural context.
An exchange session was also held with students from our university's Department of Physical Therapy, leading to active discussions on their specialized fields and culture. Learning and exchange among students across national borders is significantly progressing.
Starting tomorrow, they will begin their clinical practice at hospitals and clinics in the vicinity of the university. Our university will continue to further promote the globalization of the campus through this international program.
