Learning in Action: International Nursing Practicum in Singapore
At our partner institution, Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) in Singapore, Seirei Christopher University conducted an international nursing practicum from August 31 to September 14, 2025.
Two fourth-year students from the School of Nursing participated in the program. In addition to attending lectures on Singapore’s healthcare and welfare systems, they visited hospitals and engaged in training at a dementia day care center.
The students applied the knowledge and skills they had acquired in Japan to their local training. Despite language differences, they gained valuable experience in realizing how their learning could be effectively applied in an international setting.
