On September 21, 2025, GSC students showcased their creativity and innovation at the Connecting Minds Project Presentation in the Australian Pavilion at EXPO 2025, Osaka.
Seven Grade 8 and three Grade 10 students partnered with St. Columba College (Adelaide) to present two projects:
- Super Simple Space Salads – exploring microgreens as a nutrient source in space
- Biosolutions in Space: Bricks and Bites – using mushrooms for eco-bricks and making fruit jerkies for astronauts
Since February, the students collaborated internationally through Padlet, Zoom, and email. They gained invaluable skills in leadership, collaboration, research, and English public speaking, while presenting their ideas to both live and online audiences.
We are proud of our students for representing GSC with innovation, teamwork, and global vision at one of the world’s most prestigious events.
